You Won't Win If You Fight Cancer

This was the horribly read horoscope I heard on the radio during my drive to work. I'm sure it was supposed to be "You won't win if you fight, comma, Cancer" but that doesn't change the fact that it sounded hysterically bleak at 7:30 in the morning.

Now I'm at work writing (more like BS'ing my way through) an anthropology discussion paper that's due later today.

If you're 100% confident in what you say just 24% of the time, over 70% of people will believe you. That was totally a made up stat, but because I used a specific number like "24 percent", it makes it more believable. Just something to think about today: Confidence cancels out ignorance.
